Tony Moly I’m Real Sheet Mask Review Part 1

Does anyone else picture J.Lo singing “I’m real” every time they see this packaging? No? Ok, maybe just me then. Anyways, today I am going to post a review on the entire line of the Tony Moly I’m Real sheet masks. You can find these at Ulta, Sephora, some beauty supply stores, Amazon, etc. the best pricing around that I have seen is Amazon by far.

Do I like them? Yes. Are they better quality than some of the other masks I’ve used? Yes. Would I repurchase again? Yes, but only if I rebought them on a K beauty site or here on Amazon, where you get 11 masks for around $1 a mask or less.

I definetely do not think they are worth the $3.75 or so price point each that they cost at Ulta or Sephora.

They are also super saturated, which is great in some ways but also can sometimes causes the masks to rip easily. I also find the cotton to be a bit thin.

I am going to review all of the masks in the line, so I will break up the batch into two posts.

This post was not sponsored, nor did I receive any products for free..as usual I wish I did. 😆 All these items were purchased with my own funds! Now onto the individual masks:

Broccoli Vitality Mask:

The mask claims to provide energy to tired skin. I’m not sure if my skin was necessarily “energized” but it definitely looked a bit more glowy, smoother and firmer. The next morning my face felt really soft.

Tea Tree Skin Soothing Mask:

I used this mask when I noticed a few blemishes popping up on my skin, but I wish I had saved it for a time when I had a sinus headache. I definitely thought this was going to be my least favorite mask of the bunch and I was pleasantly surprised. It has a nice tingling/cooling sensation which is why I wish I saved it for a time when I needed that feeling during a sinus headache episode. As usual, the mask was super drenched. My skin felt softer after use, and the next morning the blemishes had disappeared.

Rice Clear Skin Mask:

This one had a light fragrance and was saturated well. I kept it on for about an hour and it stayed moist for awhile. I didn’t have any actual blemishes when I tried it, but felt a pimple could be coming on so I used this mask. The pimple never surfaced, and my skin felt softer the next morning so I would buy this mask again.

Lemon Brightening Mask:

I think this one was my favorite thus far, and to be honest it was because of the scent. The smell reminded me of lemon Italian ices, so if you are someone who does not like scent on their face then you will not be a fan  of this mask. My skin did look brighter in the morning, and was softer. I will definitely re-purchase this mask.

I will review the remaining masks once I’ve tried them all. I am also linking the entire set on Amazon down below, which is totally a bargain.

Thanks for reading!
