Glow Recipe Pineapple Serum: First Impressions šŸ

Hi loves!

I was super excited for this new serum to drop from Glow Recipe. I’m loving how companies are expanding past the typical citrus vitamin C and innovating these products with delish ingredients such as pineapple!

This serum smells HEAVENLY! It smells like straight up pineapple juice . šŸ’› Aside from 22% pineapple juice, it includes ingredients such as aloe, chamomile and ascorbic acid. It’s not sticky and soaked well into my skin.

The serum is intended to brighten skin, reduce dark spots and hyperpigmentation and to help get rid of acne scars. Glow Recipe’s site says that it is good for all skin types.

The serum is also housed in some very cute packaging, which looks like a little pineapple! The serum itself is yellow, so it’s very aesthetically pleasing.

The other thing I have to say isn’t specific to this serum, but Glow Recipe has fantastic customer service! I originally ordered this days ahead of the launch, which wound up being a glitch in their system. They unfortunately had to cancel my order, but were so kind to send a gift card to those of us whose orders got messed up. Customer Service got back to me right away with questions I had. Because of this and other positive experiences I’ve had with them, I’m more inclined to shop with them and recommend them to my friends.

This serum was purchased with all of my own money. It retails at $49 and is sold on Glow Recipe’s site as well as at Sephora. I am going to continue using this over the next few weeks and follow back with my review!
